Cinammon Apple Sauce Bread Pudding

1 loaf white bread
1 cup of raisins
2 cups skim milk
1 cup cinnamon applesauce
8 egg whites
½ cup brown sugar firmly packed
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Cut sliced bread into ½ inch cubes. Mix raisins and bread in a large bowl. In another bowl mix egg whites, applesauce, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread and rasins. Let stand 25 minutes. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Pour bread mixture into a lightly greased baking pan. Bake 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool 12-20 minutes prior to serving.
