Toilet Paper Roll Turkey

Toilet Paper Roll Turkey

What You Will Need:

2 Toilet Paper Rolls
Scissors
Glue
Tape
Construction Paper
Googly Eyes

Directions:

1. Cut one tp roll in half.
2.  Place a piece of tape on the small tp roll and place it on the center of the large tp roll. This becomes your turkey head and body.
3.  Cut out six turkey feathers.

4.  Glue the turkey feathers to the back of the turkey.

3.  Cut out a triangle for the nose.
4.  Cut out a snood. (this is the red piece of skin that hangs over the turkeys nose)
5.  Glue on the nose and snood.

6.  Glue on the googly eyes.
7.  Cut out 2 feet.
8.  Glue on the feet and Viola! You have a turkey.

My year old made the turkey pictured. To add flair for the older kids try decorating the feathers with markers, glitter glue, or paint. You could also paint the tp rolls brown prior to making.

Have Fun!

I found your site from The Coupon Project and I am excited to do this with my almost 3 year old. I knew I was saving those rolls for something special! ;)
